I usually have a really difficult time with tall boots, because I can never get them to zip over my calves. These boots were described as stretch and they did just that! They are still tight, so even if you have smaller calves you shouldn't have a problem. They are comfortable to wear, but I haven't worn them enough yet to know how they hold up to wear and tear.
