They're perfectly sized, as comfortable as spike heeled boots can be, have a reasonably level base, removable buckle straps, and fit well no matter how big your calf or ankle may be. These are definitely a staple of my wardrobe, and after months of use, the only real wear on them is that one of the tiny loops that holds one of the buckle straps in place came loose. Definitely give these a try, especially if you (like me) gave up on finding thigh high or knee high vinyl boots for a calf over 15".
