(More customer reviews)A friend recommended these shoes. Having a narrow foot and lower back issues I was desperate to find the perfect shoe to tour Europe and Egypt with. Especially the uneven walkways and desert like conditions in Egypt near the pyramids. Though they are not "European fashionable" I opted for comfort to enjoy my touring. There was absolutely no way I could have enjoyed and accomplished all the walking that I did without them. As a matter of fact one day in Haifa we weren't sure what we were going to do so I didn't wear them. Descending the Baha'i Gardens then walking back to the ship all downhill you'd think that would have been easy! I was sooooo sorry I didn't have my Merrells that day!
