However, I want to mention that I was disappointed to find the laces inappropriate for my hiking boots, which always seem to take too long to lace as I'm rushing out the door, late, to meet up with my hiking buddies. The only reason to wear hiking boots vs. shoes is to gain ankle support, and thus, elastic laces are the last thing you want. However, for any other type of footwear I enthusiastically recommend these laces.
One styling variation that I like; instead of having the loose end bobbing in the breeze I prefer cutting the bobtail longer, and then tucking it under one of the crossed laces. OK, I'm [...], but very neat! ;-)
